This ceiling in Doylestown had suffered significant water damage over time, causing the old plaster to separate from the lath and crumble, leaving large holes and rust-stained areas. After making sure the source of moisture had been addressed, we carefully removed all the compromised plaster and debris, treated the underlying structure, and installed new drywall to restore the ceiling’s strength. The repaired area was taped, finished, and sealed with a stain-blocking primer to prevent any discoloration from bleeding through. Finally, we sanded and painted for a smooth, seamless finish—leaving the ceiling looking as good as new.
